The Buddo graphic is based on the beautiful 'Skara Brea Buddo', a neolithic figurine sculpted from whalebone. Considered one of the earliest representations of the human form the Buddo dates from circa 2,900 – 2,400 BC, it was discovered in the village of Skara Brae on the Scottish island of Orkney on the 1950s.
Buddo is an Orcadian word which is a non gender specific term of endearment.
